Did the same to my Centaur last winter - stanchions & pullpit.
Stanchions & bases came from the local swindlery & were expensive.
New pullpit came from a local stainless fabricator & caused a few problems. Cost was way down on anything in the marine industry & I got a nice job in the end.
Lessons learned:
1. Make sure they are not sub-contracting it out.
2. Make sure the guy who actually makes it knows exactly what to make.
I had problems chasing it up. I eventually found the guys who were actually doing the work & they were great. They simply did what they were told by the guys I placed the order with & made a straight copy of the old bent pullpit The result was a nice looking pullpit that didn't fit. The angles of the mouting plates were at the wrong angle even though I'd explained all this when I placed the order. They did a great & fast job of making the unit fit once they knew what was required.
One tip is to make up a wooden jig of the mounting holes to you get an exact fit.
Holt Allen's YS range is ok in my experience but I've recently seen some, very similar to one of their patterns, which might as well have been made of peanut butter, so beware. The dodgy ones were hollow (strange, I thought) and made of a very soft alloy; bent 90 degrees at the first sight of a spinnaker sheet. Looked like the ones with the cylindrical head on the YS website. I think/hope they were Chinese copies and I wouldn't want them between me and a midnight swim. My own boat's fitted with the solid YS tapered type (about £25 each). Both types are on http://www.holtallen.com/ys/y1.htm. The weights they're giving under the picture of the tapered type look way too light to me: I suspect the tables for YS 7165 type and YS 47 are mistakenly transposed, especially as type 47 bases usually go with the tapered type of stanchion. Any chandler, inc some online, can get them for you.
Look at the Vetus catalogue-they probably have a website as well. I got a
replacement stanchion recently to match my boat in France from a chandlery
chain called Uship -less than 20 quid for a 630mm stanchion.
