It’s in need of lots of TLC although passed its Spanish MOT probably needs a few euros spending but I have come to the conclusion that probably much of the time will be spent drinking coffee or vino chatting and the occasional sail to Vigo or Bayona to i bile more liquids nothing too strenuous but a home away from home for a few days farting about before I get too old.

Please tell us more - what type / make is she?
Well the first choice because of price,3,500 euros is a 7 meter Spanish built boat from the 1970 really just what we want but it has saggy headline and narrow side decks and low headroom but ok for a few days ,the next is a Gib sea 24 newly painted at 9,500 euros looking in good order but with original engine from 1977 the last is a Jouet26 again an old boat from the 1977 at 12,,000 euros. There is not much choice in Galicia at the price I can afford looking in other areas means quite a sea passage at least from the med coast although possible along the north coast now winter is arriving. It’s early yet and more boat may come on to the market soon. The ideal boat would have a new inboard but an outboard is ok.Not being motor minded I am attracted to the cheap boat with new outboard and it’s in the ria de pontevedra, close to home……..
