I am looking at buying a Sealine 255 and have seen several advertised at between £27000 and £23000 - all 1990 vintage. A few questions:

Are they structural sound (any osmosis history)?

Is the Volvo Penta AQ 250 (150hp) a good engine, what fuel consumption from twin rig at cruise (~24knots)?

What price should I bid at - I have heard 20% below asking is reasonable.

Any other thoughts?

How much!?

For a 12 year old 25ft petrol engined Sealine!!??

You could get a decent same age Princess 266 with a pair of AQ431's for that!

1990 is very doubtful, prod stopped in 89.
Build on the 255 was not bad, mate has run that engine ( above average use )for 10 years without a major problem.
Price is dependent on boat state, and what you are prepared to go to, and how desperate the owner is to get rid of it
