After cleaning up the best part of the last 50 litres I bought from Ishtar's bilges, and cabin floor last month, I need to get some more. I bought the last lot from CBYC, but where else can I get it? Anywhere between Bridgend and Cardiff is fine, I have jerry cans, or I can buy it from a pontoon, but where?

Thanks.

It's also available in Penarth Marina, but I guess you knew that ?

If you have jerry cans though and are allowed to fill from them by CYC then find a petrol station or small commercial oil supplier out in the sticks that sells red to farmers, it'll certainly be cheaper than the marina. Sorry I'm not sure about where there are any between Cardiff & Swansea though.

That's what I was thinking. I'm from Maesteg, see, and I'm tight, like......

If anyone else knows of somewhere, that'd be great.

I guess this is the sign of the times and I am sure it
will only get worse, where can we get it from, can we afford it,
will we get away with it, it will be like the Mad Max films (liquid gold) Oh MY

Try Owens fuels Litchard Industrial Estate, Bridgend. First turning right on entry then look for another right turn down a lane then its the first pump. I have been using for 4 yrs no problems.

Hi martin, its a good idea to filter it as its going in the tank,i use part of a pair of Helens old tights stretched over the end of the funnel, you will be supprised at the crud it saves from going in the tank.

Didn't get out with the diesel in the end Chris. Loaded the boat after I saw you but it was blowing so strong we just kept being blown back to the pontoon. Looking forward to a sail tonight as well. Ho hum.
