Raggies v Stinkers, Stinkers v Raggies:eek: Happening on every forum nowadays.

WTF is that all about?

Whichever clique you belong to doesn't matter, both have a love of water. Get over it and enjoy life.

My first boat will be a sub, I can then keep away from all this BS.

If so,then you'll incur the wrath of commercial fishermen, submarines are/were blamed for a lot of sinkings in years gone by.

In any case, to be a submariner you have to have a special insanity gene in your DNA, believe me, I know what I'm talking about:D

The insanity may arise if I carry on reading some of these threads.

Never have I known such animosity between two groups who share a common interest..........not even between carp and match anglers:)

Then you should spend some time on the Thames Forum:-

Thames vs Medway
MoBo's vs Raggies
MoBos & Raggies vc Rowers
Canoeists fit in there somewhere too
NBs vs MoBos
Most of the above who pay licences vs the marine pykies who dont

You just dont get out enough, Taz :D

What are the colregs when a submarine meets another submarine?
You now have to think 3 dimensionally.
Does a submarine diving give way to one rising?
What anchor would you recommend for a submarine?

He's a Mancunian......'nuff said :D

I'm even getting abuse off a Scouser that probably stole his boat in the first place.......engine trouble you say? nah, bloody immobiliser:D

COLREGS........who gives a toss, commonsense will prevail:cool:

then there's those that are prone to overuse of the quote tool:mad:

btw, I couldn't understand the carp anglers as a match fisherman, bunch of beer swilling hobbits who lived in tents and occasionally caught a kipper.. until I became one then couldn't understand why I'd wasted so many years catching tidlers... now I have a boat, I can't understand why I wasted so many glorious days fishing full stop

Poss be cos East Coasters tend to be proper boaters who can actually handle their boats and do not see another boat on the horizon as some sort of impending threat.
It must be very worrying when heading from one Solent Marina to the next Solent Marina at 35 knots to be faced with the challenge of having to turn the steering wheel a bit, especially as this was NOT covered in the BoatBlasterCaptain RYA course offered when one picked up ones gin place from the broker all those weeks ago.:)

OG matrix organisations can be somewhat troublesome to manage... Mobo v Raggy overlayed with a second dimension of North v South overlayed with a 3rd dimension of East v Everywhere.... interesting forum readings ahoy with that little lot going on:D
