Buy Turkish Car and Export to UK

I need a cheap car (three actually) for the Plymouth - Banjul charity rally next year and Turkish built Renault 12s are the perfect car for Africa.

What is involved to buy, export and re-register a Turkish car. Anyone tried it?

I assume we'd drive them to UK, re register there and then export to Banjul. Perhaps it might be easier for the cars to remain Turkish until they reach Banjul via the rally???

All opinions appreciated.

I presume the first leg of Plymouth to Banjul, is getting onto the Plymouth/Santander Ferry? If so why go to the cost and aggravation of bringing the cars into the UK; instead drive them from Turkey to N. Spain and store them there until you're ready to set off.

Have a look at prices of second hand Turkish cars before you go too far down the track.

I can see a flaw in this plan secondhand turkish cars are very expensive!!!

Turkish car's are really cheap for rental.guess re-register is mandatory.The fourth plant is a car factory at Bursa.You can re-register from their..
