Ah, Powerskipper, we at ButtMaster HQ had been awaiting your call and we have an apology to make. Our initial scheme did not differentiate between sail and power and as all BMs know there's much pontification to be had in this difference. We propose the following extension to the scheme.

Power and sail ButtMaster clarification:
The 'Buttmaster scheme applies in equal measure to both power and sail 'butters. However, the certificate to be endorsed Windbag for sail and Sootbag for power. Motorsailors need not apply.

I hope this clarification has proved useful and will be ratified by vote at the next ButtMaster Ball.

We are not sure that you bang on anything like enough to qualify for ButtMaster and under normal circumstances would have to turn you down. However, we have noticed that you can post piccies and dodgy weblinks and under those cicumstances can make an exemption in your case. Just send the usual suitably filled brown envelop to ButtMaster HQ and the certificate will be sent by return.

Well if that isnt bloody typical. All Powerskipper has to do is turn up, flutter her eyelids, say pretty please and she's got you all gooey eyed and dribbling.

I see you are already fudging the issues and starting to generate half baked ill considered ammendments to the constitution......most irregular and not conducive to a smooth motion at the agm.

As you are now accepting stinkies, I'd like to apply. I can certainly pontificate, and am extremely adept at the "We've seen this post before and...." or "What a load of b*****ks...." part of the syllabus. I must admit to not having made many posts starting 'When I was in the merch...', but as you can see I have started remedying that deficit. As for starting posts with views left of Kenghis Khan, I merely point you at my recent thread on mobo calling for licensing of parents who want children, and compulsory sterilisation of those who don't pass muster.

It is obvious from the tone of your post and many of your earlier offerings that you are a suitable candidate. You will have seen that there is a 'Butt examiner on the board suggest that you send him a suitably filled brown envelop and the certificate could be posted by return.

You will be aware that we, at ButtMaster HQ, take our brand very seriously and we take the view to use it in frivalous way that you seem to be is outside of the bounds of friendly banter.

Accordingly, please take this as a final warning that any future infringenent of the ButtMaster brand name will lead to action being taken. You will recall that we successfully pursued an American President for his use of 'Kick Butt' without proper payment or authorisation.

I am very pleased with my new title, but a little perplexed as what this new licence entitles me to do, when I was in the merchant navy and we got a new certificate we also received the crib sheet telling us what it ent....drone drone merch...drone....storm....drone...

We, at ButtMaster HQ, are truly astounded by the interest that has been shown. However, we have to earn a living and in the absence of large numbers of brown envelops arriving, will be suspending operations for the time being.

But watch this space, we have some further thoughts on the scheme which we hope to share with you in the near future.

still......much as I expected.......no pain no gain but if the pain in the butt gets too great its time to leave the seat........

We still take a dim view of your activities and you haven't won as we are in suspension but as you can see haven't gone away.

You'll be hearing from the ButtEnforcer some time when you are not expecting it. If I were you I wouldn't go surfing in the near future.

Heartened by the response to the 'ButtMaster concept, we at ButtMaster HQ have been working on branded material and are planning to lodge a logo.

We believe that it would totally appropriate to register two fingers over a rising moon as our trademark.

If anyone has objections to this please contact ButtMaster HQ.
