That's one part of the course, I think the examiners would need more evidence of pontification.

Fast Buttrack

I utterly agree with you, butt-secretary general.

You will note that i have already achieved Buttmaster, within five minutes of it being announced. In the subsequent hour i have jumped in a coldish swimming pool wearing a lifejacket, and also breathed into an old blow-up dolly to prove my fuirst aid skills. I enclose £20 and a passport photo, and hereby apply for buttmaster commercial endorsement.

Only need a "pontiplan" if you intend to pontificate outside of controlled fora. Provided you stay within the safe, if congested, confines of SB you will be ok.

I would have thought that a pre-pont briefing would only serve to spoil the excitement for the SB crew.

I believe that OffBut allows Butts over a certain size are allowed to use higher levels of emission.

When in the proximity of others it's considered good foem to keep emission levels down so that you're heard by as few other stations as possible.

Persnally, in an emergency or when I want as many people to hear me as possible I don't hesitate to use full power.

Ooh yes. I have a very limited vocabulary of 100 words and none of them longer than a few syllables, have never been outside the solent apart from that one time x-channel that I drone on and on about, and I don't think that I could really handle a forum exchange that got in the least bit contentious. Also my computer is ancient and rubbish, and is parked in a tiny room, so i suppose i could handle groups of a maximum of, well, six at a time. Will this do?

On the subject of fastracks, anyone know what's happened to the adventures of Felicity Fastrack, or whatever her name is? She has vanished from the top of our screens.

tcm, you sound like ideal material although you might be overqualified with a 100 word vocabualary but if you can prove that you can carry on barfing in a gale force 1 then you could be the man. What would you say to a trial, say a week's pontificating followed by holding forth for a day or so then hi-jacking a thread?
Let me know what you think about this suggested syllabus.
