Hi,
My gas has failed on the hob but the butane bottle is still pretty full.
The hob ignites but with low flames.
There's an old regulator which the supply flows through, its as old as the boat, circa 1970s and I think that's the issue. Its a Calor Gas Waller 766.
I've removed it but I'm wondering if I should change the brass gas pipe which connects from the regulator to the hob. I'm not convinced the pipe is in good health also!
If I go down this path is it within safety measures to replace it with a standard orange 8mm hose?
I don't want to be blowing up either the boat or myself for that matter.
All guidance greatly appreciated.
