Along with the usual visitors from downstream we had a club going downstream.

20+ boats , so we sorted out the full length of the barge lock for them.

They got there in calm seas on Thursday, could be interesting coming back...

I should have been with them but had to cancel as there was no petrol at PH or Sheperton :mad:

Maybe with the forecast it was a blessing in disguise!!
 
I thought you were with them Sulley , as there was a crew that came down to the lock enquiring where the nearest petrol station was , because there was a petrol boat needing filling ? i assumed it was you ?
 
Apparently PH has had a problem with water getting into the petrol store. Does anyone know any more?
 
They were probably checking for me, at that time I was at shepperton hoping a tanker would turn up! There was one other petrol boat that was full that they were probably looking to top up.

Also I would have said hello!!

PH have moved there petrol supply from there to Windsor. Appart from that I don't know anything.

Gavi, I am sure I passed you on Friday. You had on a Quins shirt and you had a nice red broom at the bottom of the garden with the Johnson engine cover off :D. I did wave!

Shepperton had no fuel as the tanker deliver that should have been there on Tuesday still had not arrived on Thursday but was on its way. The panic buying earlier had put all the tanker deliveries back!
