Business must be slow...

I am in no way a broker, don't make a penny out of boats sold.

However I put up ad's on the owners association website as part of the service; boats used to go within a week, now the recession has hit they still shift fairly quickly but take maybe a few weeks / a month.

OR4751,

I wouldn't believe any old BS, I know top clubs in Chichester Harbour which are having recruiting campaigns with advert's for open days on roundabouts on the bypass !

Funny place to spend any day, never mind an open day ;-)

If only they had what I wanted in the chandlers, at least then I'd have a choice of where to buy it. Usually ask if they have it, they don't, they offer to order it, I say no you're alright I'll get it cheaper online...

Don't assume it will be cheaper on-line. When I kitted out our previous boat, I took a list to our local chandlery and they came back with prices that matched, or undercut, the best I could find on-line. They also got everything in within a few days and had it waiting for me to collect - no having to wait in for deliveries at home. If any of the items had been faulty, I could have simply returned them to the shop - no need to package things up and put them in the post.
