Happy for Steve to attend but leave your other personality (Dustin Hoffman) at home eh mate!! ;)

Hi All, glad I spotted this thread, its explained a couple of odd things I saw floating nearby today. So just found out about this but think we will pop down (Moored at Foulke's).

There isn't one for Swanwick. It's Spectrum and you'll have to pay for it I'm afraid. The Boathouse wifi is free tho if you wanna sit there with your lappy. They'll give you their password.

Just checked the forecast and light rain 12-9pm ish. Unfortunately you seem to have a reputation for bringing this with you. So you have an opportunity to redeem yourself ! No rain and I'll bring a Twix.

Tried every marina in the Solent for this weekend but impossible, so, yep we'll be there, E20, always a good night

Really good night. Fireworks were great, atmosphere buzzing. Oh and the company wasn't too shabby either (well, aside from the odd one or two throw backs but they stayed mainly on the pontoon so...all was good ;) ). Thanks chaps...it was a good laugh.

:)
PS...definitely need a bigger boat!

Sounds a great night. Shame we missed it. :( Coming down today.

A great evening, many thanks to Lisilou for hosting a great boat / pontoon party, I'm not sure about you needing a bigger boat Lisa but the pontoon could do with some more buoyancy!

Note - the sliding roof on the SC35 is great for watching the fireworks!

Nice to put some faces to some forumites too.

Mike

Nice to meet a few forumites on Lisa's boat. I owe you a Twix Steve, looks like Gary is misrepresenting your ability to bring the fine weather, as apparently it was raining everywhere else, but missed us at the Regatta. Kids loved the candle parade. Now I've got to clean the red wax of the tender and my deck shoes !
