Burnt wiring sender to Tachometer
Hi All,
Started engine on our UFO 34 and smoke was coming out from behind engine control panel. Dismantled it to find wires (signal and ground) from sender to (Faria) tachometer had melted at tachometer end Replaced wires with some spare cable of similar gauge and new connectors. Started engine. Within two minutes more smoke and connectors at sender end this time had fried.
Anyone got any ideas as to cause?
