Given the excleent long range forecast, we're thinking of coming down to Burnham next weekend, perhaps in company with another boat in our marina.... any of you Burnham folks going to be around, JimDew, Squidge, etc? it does all depend upon the tides which I haven't checked yet...

Tides are not perfect, but acceptable.... might mean a bit of a slog going, but good for the return.... SWMBO is not impressed at my suggested 04h30 start... mind you its not too far from a neap, so not too bad I guess....

So, if you are around, I'll see you there!

Just a word of warning though....thier local cuisine is Quiche Lorraine, Last week whilst on board in Burnham as a mark of respect to the locals I had to eat this crap! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Seriously, how is Des? He had a nasty motorbike accident, and was out of action for a while. I heard Paloma being hailed on Ch 16 last weekend, so either he, or someone else, is out again.

BLOODY HELL! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif it is true wot Jimdew told me!......and yes Yanita your guess is spot on! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

NAS,
spot me on the swinging morings on the fairway side, around Fairway 5ish. I will be attempting my first single handing on the Crouch this weekend, unless a certain bad mouth quiche eating qualification collecting git is about. Dave?
Lynn and I will be in Burnham on Saturday night, give us a call on the VHF. Full Circle.
