The postage cost from this end for a large-ish envelope with a chunky interior was $4.25 (approx. 2.50 quid) airmail, from past experience I remember the British stamps seemed better value.
If the money doesn't cover airmail, send it surface mail, or let me know by pm the difference.
I don't expect you to be out of pocket in any way.

I sent Haydn 2 SAE with enough stamps for 1/2 a kilo each, shouldn't be underweight then
