Hi I am new to this boat electrics thing, so I have some questions - someone must already have found out the answers to this:
What gauge wire should I be using to electrify my burgee? Should it be tinned marine cable? Will I need an inverter, or is 12V sufficient? To save power, is there something like a tilt switch, so it only comes on if someone climbs aboard?
Would it be simpler to employ some big bloke, maybe one of the ones with earpieces who stand outside the Watershed bars, to sit in the cockpit at night, with a 12 gauge, next time I am in Bristol?"
