I have a pair of removeable davits made in 45mm tube. I'd like to fit some sort of bung to the deck sockets to stop them filling with water. The tube is a snug fit so I'd say, without measuring, the bore of the socket is 45.4mm. Any ideas what to use?

I've requested some more info from them, thanks. It set me off in another direction which is looking promising too.
