Bung needed for Avon R280!

Whilst rowing to check out the new mooring I noticed water coming in from the drain on the transom - luckily I had some window sealant in the car so was able to seal it temporarily and have another go at reaching the mooring (rows fine with a flat bottom by the way!).

Anyone know if you can still get these bungs. It currently has a rubber circular disc which doesn't seal on it's own. I don't really need it so will seal it up permanently if you can't get hold of the bungs!

Many thanks I'll give the suppliers a call (should be something there that will do the trick) and if no joy I'll stick a cork in it!

As it's a wooden transom, you could take the old one out and fit a "normal" dinghy drain with a captive, screw-in bung.

or some chandlerys use to sell a rubber bung. I fitted a line to one attached to the dinghy in case it fell out.
