You’re such modern seafarers. Clockwork Schatz Royal Mariner eight bells clock on my boat. Rewind every Sunday, move forward/back as the seasons pass. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Hurrah for old farts.

My wife could not work out how to alter the time in her last car. So left it as it was & made the mental adjustment knowing that on the switchover to BST it always came correct. Just before spring it was set to BST as it had been all winter. She took it in for service .
When she got home she was fuming. Some idiot had adjusted the clock to GMT for her. So that meant that 2 weeks later it was going to be wrong again She nearly drove back to Chelmsford to complain, but did not want to admit that she could not do it herself. My son claimed that he did not know how, just to wind her up. But eventually my daughter in law gave him so much grief that he had to sort it. It took seconds.
