Bukh DV20 / Westerbeke Pilot 20 Oil Filters

Hi,
does anyone know which alternative oil filters I can use for the Bukh DV20? Having a really hard time finding something other than the Westerbeke 11951? Is there a Fram equivalent?

I cant give you a specific reply but I just buy filters based on the dimensions of thread & sealing face & the micron rating. Just google manufacturers websites & look for approximate matches. Larger canister is fine. Or if you have friendly local auto parts place or tractor place take a filter along & see if they'll find you an equivalent. Dont pick a busy time tho as lotsa people cant be naffed. I got a volvo penta gold plated fuel filter replaced by a much cheaper baldwin by going into an auto parts chain store that way. The young bloke behind the counter but a kindly older chap had mercy on me & went out the back & found me one.

There is a long list of alternatives, many of which have widespread availability, and which I have posted on this forum before (as have others), but which unfortunately I cannot lay my hands on at the moment.

Here you go. Baldwin B228...this filter fits the DV20 and 24 Inline FL70758 Filter-Lube(Equivalent: SP-820, B228, LF3338)

I have found the previous post I mentioned, and here is a copy of it -

'The specified Oil Filter for the DV36 (and DV48) is different from that for the DV10/20 etc, but the Fuel Filters are the same. Unfortunately I haven't found common equivalents for the DV36 oil filter (whereas that for the DV10/20 has dozens - they're fitted to everything from Ferraris to dump trucks!).
