Got a Bukh 20 with a recommended OEM Bosch 0001315004 starter motor.
1979, although engine year not relevant here as it's not the original starter (up until yesterday, it was grey in colour).
must admit, I always considered it the bendix type - but some googling just now set me straight on that - it is in fact a pre-engage.

Barely to the point. but 40-something years ago as a student I owned a pensioned-off FX3 taxi (the kind with the open luggage compartment where the front passenger seat would normally be). It had a pre-engaged starter but the pre-engagement wasn't electrical - you had to pull a lever under the dashboard, and if you forgot you just got an impotent WHIRRRRR.
