As mentioned previously my zinc anode by the regulating lever has broken off because I think the previous owner bought a none standard part & it is a little bit larger diameter than the standard part.(At least another one that I inherited with the boat).
So I have decided to drive it through a little bit at a time in relation to the amount of wear but I don't know how big the cavity is at the other side of the anode & I don't want to push it through unnecessarily & cut off the water supply. So,does anyone know exactly how big the cavity is & most importantly. If you are about to replace your zinc anode or have it out for inspection.Could you measure the depth by sticking in a rod or something?
Thanks in anticipation,Nicholas.
