Bukh Bolt rip off

Now I know ordering direct from Bukh is expensive, but I wasn't expecting to be charged the best part of £20 for 6 x M10 x 45 Umbraco cap screws for the fly wheel. Especially after I had already been to Versatile Fasteners in Gravesend and got nearly every other bolt, nut, and washer for the engine apart from those ordered from Bukh for £5. Made my blood boil. Will be sending them back as I'm fed up with being ripped of. Looked online and can get for less than £2. Just no need for it.

Why did Versatile Fasteners not have M10 x 45 unbraco cap screws, seems standard enough unless of course the Bukh ones are special material spec to deal with the weight and torque of the flywheel. I know that you have to be very careful when you refit and torque the flywheel on a Bukh

Yes, I still wonder what would have happened to mine if it had failed at cruising speed. It would almost certainly sunk the boat,and maybe taken me out as well....
