Building A Gimbal for a Portable Stove

Good topic.

I'm looking for a way to boil water / heat soup under way, in my small boat. I found these today on Youtube;-

Any other ideas for me to consider?

Good ideas, IIRC similar to what David Blagden had on Willing Griffin (Hunter 19, Transat 1972). I have a Pocket Rocket so I might have a go at something like this - although I'm not sure that fixing to the actual burner is that clever  A wind shield is probably a good idea if it's in the cockpit too, mine doesn't like wind much.

In the end this year I didn't bother making a gimbal for the stove - I just made up a flask of coffee for longer passages. And to be honest the sea states I managed to find at times made even pouring from that tricky, certainly enough to make me think about the risk of scalds etc with a just boiled kettle...
