Just spent the weekend painting parts of the boat with white enamel and noticed that flys come from miles around to land on the wet paint.
Anyone know how to keep the buggers off or do I just leave them on there till it drys them brush them off and leave their feet stuck in it.
It's only the wet paint not the dry. It must be the smell of it.

Or you could just leave them and tell everyone it's the 'in look' for the season /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wonder if they are like the vinegar fly. When you start brewing beer or wine, they appear and turn it to vinegar if left uncovered.

Leave them on and brush off when dry. You'll still have their feet left embedded in the paint, but I find its the easiest way, apart from just leaving them on and forgetting to brush them off!
