Bugs-some facts

Re: Bugs-some adverts

This soltron is really fab! Truly! Somehow, he can get away with the adverts for ages. None of it proven, nor in the least bit understood by anyone, least of all the salespeople, and that priddy has had plenty of fuel pumps and filters go pop.

Can we pack in the adverts? Even if it is fab, nobody else drones on about their business auite as much as this. Blatant advertising is BANNED FROM THIS SITE

Re: Bugs-some adverts

My business extrudes plastics but we hate doing it so dont advertise much, cos we like buying houses and renting them. But only to nice people. We are also expert at building the melenium barbique with twizy round domes and thingies or a nearly expert film of your boat. Quite good at that. But need better computer thingy whatsit to make it perfect. Dirty Harry is expert at puncing hell out of Fariers or blacksmiths but good as gold to any one else. Also done Nativity plays. But they brought him back!! Also got, stick in fuel stuff for sale. It's very good so keep it for my self. Meekafarter only does it when I forgot!!

No one can force me to come here-----------

Hi Dom Crackin piece.
On the water bit. Tere is some water in the sub-strata. Hence the neet for the seperators on the production platforms but I would think that it's probably so dispersed in the rock / oil that there is a problem for the bug to get the surface areas to live in.
As you know all being well we will see you next week and I would like to try out the magic goo. one question. I've got De-Bug filters in the line which, so I understand. Alter the bugs to allow combistion etc. Will the goo have any effect on them ? Is it ok to use both systems ? I normally use a biocide will whats left in the tank mix ok with your stuff ?

Thanks

ChrisP

Yes, I know that's more than one question but I got carried away.

What do you mean the sea gull in front's walking !!!

Re: Bug,bug,bug,bug,bug

not knocking the product, just the placement.

I do recall amazing claims for quite a number of other fuel treatments (liquids,"magnetic" filters etc etc) over the last 20 years......usually backed by laboratory tests, dyno runs etc........hey,maybe they all work just fine? : I had a customer with a worn out RD350 ypvs (w/c 2 stroke bike) ...wouldn't pull over 55mph, he couldn't afford a rebore, but tried some "s*ick 50" : 90+ again.....he sold it asap.

we'll have "The truth about marine mortgages" or "The Facts: why xxx-boat is better than all the rest" next....maybe that's what people want? : it seems popular.

Definately water in oil wells. They actually pump water down into many North Sea fields in order to keep up pressure and extend the life of teh reservoir.

Re: Bugs-some adverts

Matt again posting before knowing the true facts. Priddys fuel pumps may have gone pop and his filters need changing but do you have a clue as to what type of fuel they have had to take on board? I do know and its unfortunate that they were stuck with either really crap stuff or bug ridden rubbish. Luckily they have had Soltron as they would not have made it this far. Any chance it could have been a naff fuel pump, bad manufacturing?

I know you wuld have had fuel company sponsorships as well as a lab scientist testing your fuel at each port if you were doing it and this would never have happened to you, but the bug and crap fuel is a reality and it does happen to people therefore, the more understanding people have of it the easier it is to avoid.

As I said before my post did not mention Soltron or advertise anything it was for informtion only. YOU mentioned Soltron and you keep going on about it in a way which causes it to be constantly mentioned. Nobody complains when you mention your boat which you keep going on about your charters here and there. That could be said to be blatant advertising as you are making it aware that you have a nice boat for charter in the Med.

Quick fact about my so called advertising, I have not sold a single drop to anyone on this forum. Therefore I am not benefiting from my mentions of the product so although I do have an interest in the product I am not using it for my financial gain on this forum.

Hi Chris

Not long now and the weather is cracking here, lets hope it holds.

Will speak about the goo this weekend so as not to be blatantly advertising!

Dom,
I found the post very interesting, I knew most of it anyway, having suffered with the dreaded bug myself. I would not now fll my tanks WITHOUT using one of the fuel additves I use one I have a stock of before leaving UK and its very good! This post should be very useful to those who do not know about the "bug" and I don't give a stuff if you supply the stuff or not, information is and should be freely available, it educates all of us, thankyou!
