As a recent convert to diesel I have never suffered problems with 'the bug'. Thing is that my starboard engine is not behaving as it should. Can anyone advise on symtoms of diesel bug in fuel.
I'm running twin AD41's. Port engine runs cleanly and revs well up to maximum. Starboard engine revs OK'ish up to about 2000, runs clean with no smoke, and then takes an age to get up to maximum. If I drop off port engine then stb struggles to maintain revs and power reduces. I've had turbo's and intercoolers checked and I think the diesel pumps OK as well. Port and stb are running off seperate tanks and both were filled at the same time from the same pump.
Any ideas anybody. Thanks in advance
