I have a problem getting the arvor to turn at low throttles and low speeds, it not having a keel and a high speed prop, it sort of skids a lot when manovering around the tight marina.
So being a Jessy, I lobbed a cheap n nasty trolling motor on the auxillary engine bracket.
Wired to a winch motor relay and wireless controller.
All in about 150nquid
Works incredibly well. I have a 50lb version. Spins then2.5 ton boat nicely.
Only issues:-
1 ugly
2 have to raise and lower as entering harbour
3 it isn't salt water rated.
So. Is there a simple salt water rated 50lb motor that I could mount under my swim platform? The yanks seem to have a trolling motor that fits on the ?cavitation plate? Of a big outboard, but I can't find one.
