Quite a surprise to get back from our holiday cruise and find that the Bucklers Hard fuel had been, and still was, the cheapest encountered.

Petrol's also been comparatively reasonable at BH: I haven't filled up for several weeks but; last time I did so, the price was unchanged from the end of last season. I suspect they only put up their prices when they have to get fresh supplies. I will find out if they are still being charitable this weekend!

Brian. I am sure that the current (?) Bucklers Hard price will change when the next delivery comes in. BH diesel has always been "reasonable" (or, as you say, average) for Solent marina charges, but expensive if compared to the Medina fuel barge and Yarmouth Harbour Commissioners. I'm not sure what is being charged in Yarmouth, but I understand BH was cheaper than Cowes at the weekend. In my limited experience I have found the South Devon (Dartmouth/Salcombe) fuel to be consistently expensive.

Lymington yacht haven are charging 41p per ltr for anything over 300 ltrs.
