You should have heard the howls of outrage. I could show the admiral's vid but Youtube would ban it for language. A bit of rough brings the Scouse in her out. Off to meet the Marina Queens hiding in VD. Managed to entice one out the next day but Roy wasn't to be seen.

Heading out

At some point in the journey the steering hydraulic reservoir lost it's perch on the back of the SC and upended spilling it's guts out. Coming round the over falls of the Menai at Puffin we finally lost assisted steering and it was a bit tight and slow to turn so steered throttle only in a following sea. I daren't have told the Admiral but as we crossed into the Strait you can hear her relief.

It was a great weekend. Then the outboard to the dink conked in. It's been given it's final blessing. I'll be looking for a new dink too

Two questions..

A.. was that puke on your dash in the first vid?

B.. what was mutter at 45 secs on 2nd vid ?

I think the wife was ready to swim for it The swell was only 1.5 meters but it was a 2 second period and the faces were quite steep with the occasional wave interference there were a couple of biggies in the Bay and a couple of holes to take you by surprise too. Conwy Bay can present a nasty short chop sometimes.
