Hi another forum suggested throw away the original pump and add a whale gusher. Make it bulletproof. Thinking its below W/L , so just turn on valve to fill the bowl and use gusher to pump all to holding tank. Superior? Any comments criticisms, or commendations?

No problems. People saying this is a better fool proof set up. Save having the original pump giving trouble, using the whale gusher instead. I cant see a problem doing it this way.

If you could seal the lid and seat and also take the inlet pipe up into a loop under the deck with a small air bleed hole at the highest point you would have a system where flushing water is drawn in as you pump out controlled my the size of the air bleed which would also act as a syphon break when "operations" are complete.

There must be a market for such a system .... You could call it a "Vac-Lav"

:)
