"Brush Mate" -paintbrush cleaner/storage - any good?

Re: \"Brush Mate\" -paintbrush cleaner/storage - any good?

From talking to the decorators on site they are good for over night but if you are leaving for any length of time then clean your brushes .
Not used one myself , just what i was told .

For years I have wrapped paint and varnish brushes in packing film. It keeps them fresh overnight, ready to be used in the morning. Any longer and I either clean the brushes or throw them away.

I use the brushmate and personally find it brilliant, I am a carpenter so hate painting!! brushes get forgotten in there but still remain in perfect nick. Generally I need them every three or four days, some are never cleaned properly just spend their life in their being used a couple of times a week. I wouldn''t be without it now but as I say, being a carpenter I would rather edge my tools than clean paintbrushes /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

They really work though you will struggle to get more than 4 2inch brushes in their securely clipped and not resting on their bristles in the cumulative sludge at the bottom.
Will save a fortune in wasted brushes and really good for the endless touching up jobs during a refit..
