Brunsbuttel /Cuxhaven

Has anyone have information at which point after HW Brunsbuttel does the current turn and ebbs west .
cant find much info on the net and the one person said it turn on HW .
we need toget as much ebb as we can .

As far as I recall, the flood continues for an hour and a half after HW at Cuxhaven and maybe nearer two hours at Brunsbuttle. Maybe not exact but it will give you a ball-park figure to work with. There is a short cut between the two which is buoyed. I have done it but it doesn’t really save time as you get less current. When you get to Cuxhaven, continue in as far as possible, as it’s less affected by swell and the walk is a lot less. The tally card system is the best around and even I could make it work.
