Despite my support for the arts on the Olympic boat thread, I'm a bit lost with this one:o:

A ship [the ss Great Britain] moored in Bristol has been "floated" in a sea of neon-green jelly as part of a cultural festival. (clicky)

I do hope the "artist" has treated the jelly with a biocide. If the weather is in any way warm, in three days it will be a stinking pool of festering jelly.


Tacky novelty passed off as rational art.

Saw a news clip on it sometime ago, it not floating in jelly, there is a plastic panel with water on top, you can walk under the hull without getting wet. To do with stopping the hull rusting away, while still looking like it's floating in water.


Not saying I like the colour though.
