Bruce Roberts Mauritius 435

I am thinking of making an offer on a five year old hull, ketch rigged and 80hp engine. Does anyone own one who could advise me? Would they be prepared to give me a trial sail? The boat I am looking at needs a lot of work doing on her, and it would be impractible to launch, trial sail and lift out.

I think I sold a Bruce Roberts 435 a couple of years back... was about 1990 in vintage and went for just over £90k... I then got a call from someone with another 435 which could never be worth more than £45k in my opinion... they vary hugely!

The deciding factor seems to be how well they are fitted out inside with a view to ongoing maintenance. If you can't get to the inside of the hull, you may well find that it will rust from the inside out.

Nice boat though.
