Browser Problems NB

Just recently my PC has started to make life dificult.

If I want to save or use and image off a website, it makes me save them in BMP format even though the image is a JPEG or GIF, I think this happened when I updated my browser from micrsoft. I am using the latest version of ME on windows XP Media edition.

Does any one know where I might enable my browser settings to allow me to save the images in their correct format. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

How do you save the image? The method I use is to right click the image to open up a menu and then choose the save picture as option. This should give you a choice of save format. HTH.

Hi Colin,

That is the method I have been using but I am only given the option of saving to BMP format, before the problem started I had several options as normal but something has screwed it up and I am not sure what.
