Broom wanted

Selling is the easy bit.

I do really like your ramblings on these subjects Old Git:encouragement:
How long have you been trying to sell/aiming to buy......ever thought it may be you:):).

Took me 18 months to find my present boat, that really was an impetuous impulse buy,:) the previous one took over 2 years.:) 18 months so far on this search.Half the fun of boat buying is tracking down the best boat for your money.
Market is flooded with 30 year old twin engined boats all purchased when diesel was 50P a gallon, many still boasting the original furnishings/navigation gear and the engines/gearboxes near or at the end of their natural life..
The internet does provide a better overview of the sheer amount of boats available for sale.
Finding the seller who bought his boat at the right price, means the ability for him to sell it on at the right price,...Finding him is the real problem,.....:)

Re: Selling is the easy bit.

Best you don't offer to help the OP then.....he's looking to be gone by next April:D

To be fair, if OP wants a Crown, its going to be more like 38years old, at least mine is. Cant expect a 38year old boat to be in the "first flush of youth". But prices are low and furnishings are relatively cheap to sort out to your own taste. He wont find one that can get to 18knots either. Mine will real soon as its off to Norfolk to have some new "lumps" fitted (yippeee!)

There is only one problem with your theory Fred and it is that if nice ones are almost impossible to find , why on earth would someone who has managed to find one then be willing to pass on his needle in a haystack to you at a bargain price?
