Broom Quick Release Canopies

Anybody know the manufacturer of the quick release mechanism used on later Broom models canopies.

Think it might be Trend Marine.

Custom Craft based in Broom's service yard.

Had a nightmare with them - would never go near them again.

Don’t think Custom Craft do the frame - that is the bit done by Trend as it matches the windscreen, which they also supply. Custom Craft would do the canopy of course.

Yes, you're right - I thought this was talking about the canopy.

Contacted Trend and was surprised to learn that they discontinued making them 6 years ago and spares are limited. Somebody else must now make them because new Haines have them fitted.

Worth giving Haines a call - they are a small family business and are very helpful. I guess the issue may be that they are matched to a particular windscreen.
