Bronze duo prop antifouling query

A friend of mine with a Volvo Penta D6-370 stern drive with duo bronze prop wants advise on antifouling it. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

We don't normally antifoul this type of prop, the bronze reacts with the seawater and forms a dark brown/black coating which normally stays free of growth unless the boat isn't used for long periods.

You will find it very difficult to get any coating to stick to bronze props, particularly this type of high speed high power application. Simplest way is to try spray on Trilux which works reasonably well on both aluminium and bronze saildrive props or Velox has had good reports. Props need to be very clean and properly primed according to the instructions.

Find a soft mud/sand bottom at low water and give them an abrade. LOL

Or seeing that they lift up lean over the transom and scrub them now and again.
