I recently inquired about a boat for sale in Spain listed with a Spanish company, a few days later I have a response from the broker (English sounding name) thanking me for my enquiry and attaching the specification, he also informed me that the boat was now in transit to the UK and he would advise me when it arrived.
I replied thanking him for responding and asked if he was selling it or if it had been sold to a UK dealer, I also asked if it was him selling, what was the price.
The next day he replied advising me "the boat is still for sale"
That's all he said.
I replied with. "Thanks for responding but you did not answer my questions, is there any reason for this?"
He replied " We're selling the boat, owner wanted it back in the UK". Again that's all he said.
I replied. Thanks again ***, It is advertised for €**** in Spain, transport costs have now been incurred hence the reason for me asking the price, I am a serious buyer but need to know the asking price.
I have had no response, is this guy really a broker or an out of work comedian?
