Broker's photos

Is it just me who thinks that this photo is a complete waste of time when a broker is trying to sell a boat?
Apart from the poor photography, what exactly is it showing? And apart from the fact that the owner has great taste in baked beans (non of your own brand rubbish here). Perhaps they are negotiable.
Sometimes less is more.

Brochure shots for a used boat is my pet hate. Not that it is ever likely to trouble me that is.

Do you look at the Boatshed ads? They're masters of the close-up. Sometimes you have to try to figure out what the photograph actually is. Often they don't show a pic of the whole boat and sometimes they can't be bothered to remove covers so that you can actually get a good look at the thing! Hilarious!

the quality of brokers boat adverts constantly amaze me. and indeed that photo is a cracker! Some brokers seem not only incapable of taking good photos of a boat, but quite often seem terrible at spelling or even getting simple facts correct like has the boat 1 or 2 engines!

The last 3 boats I have sold I have written the advert and taken the photos... and negotiated the broker fee down accordingly.

Depends on whether the broker considers this locker to be the biggest or the smallest. If that's all the space for food aboard then that's worth knowing haha

I agree. That photo is totally ambiguous. The current owner either has no cash to maintain the boat and can barely feed themselves, or the boat has been maintained to a very high standard and so now the owner cant afford to feed himself. Either way, the invitation to follow suit as the new owner just lacks the pizzazz one expects from life on the water.
