Why does anyone who lives nearish to their boat bother with a broker at all?

[/ QUOTE ]
How near is "nearish". Bearing in mind that the punter who wants to view at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon and is half an hor later may not grasp that you took the morning/afternoon/all day off work to accommodate him.

Mentioned exterior cleanliness at Nauticalia on Saturday. They do make the effort to keep the exterior clean at a bucket and mop level and regard this as part of the service.

Sorry but unless you live too far away from the boat to keep it clean and presentable yourself, then a broker is a waste of money. You can always arrange viewings at a mutually convenient time - as all brokers do - and why pay 6-8% to a disinterested 3rd party if you don't have to?

There's a boat at T&K marina which has been for sale for around a year now....

£2500 is less than the mooring fees /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

They probably don't have to pay mooring fees as part of the brokerage deal.
