I broke the clock in my dash on Saturday. Completely trashed it. It was a large VDO one powered by a 'C' cell. See picture below. It seems this is no longer made. Can anyone recommend a replacement? I measured the clock and the size is 88mm. It doesn't need to be battery powered, 12 or 24V would do.

Thanks all. The ones on ebay are all 52mm clocks. this one is an 88mm one. What I have done is taken the workings from a cheap electric clock and bodged it into the VDO case. It's all held together with white tack. I think I will have to search the boat jumbles for one or do a proper rebuild.

Well if it works and looks good

How the Cygnus going ? a mates got one in Boston

cheers Joe

Cygnus. What can I say other than they are bullet proof. Best boat I have ever had. My mate on the pontoon has 2 boats a Princess 37 and a Neptune 36. Every time I see him and this has been going on for 2 years, he says, "David I still can't believe how substantially built this boat is."

In answer to your question it goes on and on and on and on.........

There is another Bryce Waterhouse Cygnus for sale here if your looking for an 8 knot any sea boat.
