just seen this boat brochure on ebay!

ebay boat brochure

Can't believe that someone thinks that people will pay money for what is a free brochure from a boat manufacture!
Although saying that, if he sells it, I will be seen walking around LIBS tomorrow collecting every brochure I can lay my hands on!

I've seen the sunnyseeker brochure sell for a bit on fleebay especially if you can get the one's they produce as a bound book ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What I find most interesting on E Bay is the large number of "unwanted, unopened" Chistmas presents for sale. Coincidentally, many with the same wrapping, amazing the high number of bids for them.

Over the last year the amount of 'free' items that have been sold on Ebay is untrue. RNLI CD's, Sunseeker carrier bags, Boatmatch baseball caps and brochures etc etc.

But there is a lot more advertised than actually sells.

I had a Riva brochure from an early 70's Earls Court, featuring the Aquarama, building process, model range etc. A lovely glossy job. Sadly, I can't find it, I think the Martians have it along with the various screws, nuts, small tools and so on that always go amiss.

Or of course the Missus threw it out decades ago /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I've sold a couple of free DVDs on e-bay, sounds crazy, but if you want one and the magazine has none left?

You forgot to mention it is for a silly "sealine" brochure,
absolutely worth nothing IMHO,

if it was from a classy boat manuf like Princess or Fairline, It could be worth some valuable euro's,

Seems almost anything sells on e-bay. My company had a lot of Norton motorcycle sales brochures and publicity photos from the 70's and 80's that we used to give away when asked. Now the day of the freebie is long gone and there's a price on everything.
Selling inexpensive items on ebay seems a waste of time to me ; I'd rather spend my time on here reading what amusing things other people have to say.
