Am I right in saying that you no longer need to take a covid test before travelling to France now?

Brittany Ferries website is woefully out of date.

I've looked at various other site (Eurostar, Le Shuttle, Easyjet, etc.) and they all say that it's no longer necessary.

Can anyone who's used Brittany Ferries in the past couple of weeks confirm what I need to do?

Thanks.

I do not think that it is down to Brittany Ferries but rather the French Govt. Currently we are on their amber list.( Odd because we are on Belgium's red list)
the link for the french govt site is French Govt
As far as I can determine this is the latest-(30 july, so 2 weeks ago) Others may correct me on this so wait for further comment

That is how I understand it to be. You need proof of your vaccine status, and you must make a declaration that you have not had any COVID type symptoms, nor recently been in close proximity to someone with Covid.

the French app, TousAntiCovid will recognize NHS certificates, so you can download the app and scan your certificate’s QR code onto it. Having this app on your phone will greatly simplify your dealings with French officials, and also entry into bars and restaurants etc.

We, Mrs Sandy and I, travelled from Plymouth to Roscoff a month ago in out usual vacation to France, BF were fantastice.

At that time you needed a double vaccine, a PCR test before entering France and a sworn certificate that you are COVID free before entering the country.

I know what the requirements for entry into France are, but I was wondering if Brittany Ferries were requiring anything else (such as a pre-departure test). I just don't want to get there and be turned away because we hadn't done all the required steps.

Crossed Portsmouth to Caan a week ago with Brittany ferries.
No predeparture test required. On board you are required to wear masks in public areas.
They do check you’re double vaccinated and have completed the French form.

Brilliant, thanks. That's what I was after knowing.
