Bristol Harbour Festival

Did any of you lot attend the Bristol Harbour Festival at the weekend??
It was a major event for Bristol with a lot of visiting craft. I'm a local boy and enjoyed it very much but I wonder what your opinions of it were.

Yes we attended.
If you bought the Evening Post Monday we are the Sealine 218 on the front page with its front hatch up !!!
We were moored outside of Brannigan's so a bit noisy late at night but did not disturb us as we were still partying then anyhow !!
Thought it was excellent [weather helped of course]
Fireworks and Pyronaught display was excellent.Have been going to Festival on own boat for 15 years and with parents since 1972 !!! and thought this was one of the best.
The only display to beat it was when the Matthew was launched and the display along the Portway from the suspension bridge was breath taking.
Where do you keep your boat ?
We 'moor' at home on trailer and launch at Bristol Marine on weekends we are using the river and docks.
We also trail her around and are off to the Western Isles of Scotland this Friday
Did you attend Portishead Regatta the other week?
