Bristol channel

Does anyone know what type of yacht the one is straight after the swing bridge bit?? The one with a wheelhouse and 2 blue fenders and 2 white.

Worthy little film. Like sailing that your parents used to do? I didnt get that. On our patch I dont think too much has changed except wood to grp. Water and cruising is pretty much as it was when I started 20 odd years ago.
Not long to launch now.

I think they meant uncrowded harbours and cruising grounds.

Not surprised mind you, I read once that the Bristol Channel has the second highest rise/fall in tide in the world at around 45ft if my memory is correct /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I also meant uncrowded cruising...... rare to be told somewhere is full.
Last summer I spent 3 days at anchor only 4 miles from Burnham and didnt see another boat.

Ah! Dear old Mike Hall, if I'm not mistaken - and that was his Endurance 37 that featured in several of the shots. Mike produced the early, pioneering Yachting Monthly Video Pilots as well as an instructional series and a classic yacht video. All rather out of date now, but I believe a few copies still exist.
