I've recently stumbled across this excellent (free) cruising website which provides a terrific source of cruising information. Well worth a look.

And no, I'm not involved, I have no commercial interest in it nor am I related to the owners.

Well, the more you guys subscribe to the site and add "comments" to the pages, the better it'll get. It'll never make money, but I enjoy doing it. Like most blogs I suppose. It's just arranged a bit differently.

I've just added a bit of Portugal news - a little disconcerting. Picked up from the Mobo forum.

You mention T2L document. Unless this has changed drastically since I was involved in road transport. The T2 was a transit document, which specified your goods and the eventual inland clearance depot, where your goods were to be customs cleared. The T2L was was a lesser transit document, which only took your goods in bond to the port of entry. It did not allow you to transit countries before customs clearance. The agent, who wrote your T forms deposited a bond with customs, which was discharged when the copy of the discharged T form made its way back to the origin depot.

This may or may not help with the Portuguese. It does not sound as though the documentatioin is being correctly used but when did this stop the dedicated bureaucrat.

Jim, should you ever get the urge to flap your wings and widen your horizons, your site is not that far off from what I am doing (or should that be; my site is not that far off from what you are are doing?)
