I haven't seen those but I know the type you refer to. Its a good example though of 'acceptable' humour about disability. Well for me anyway, no not double standards.

Look at it this way, the jokes you refer to are generic, situations that are highly unlikely. The comment about this lady was personal. It could even be that were the situation a different one the joke may have been more widely accepted, but she had already been riped off and the last thing that should be seen is someone poking fun, aimed at the weakness in her situation.
 
Well you are fully entitled to your opinion on what is acceptable and what is not. But please don't take my silence to mean I agree with you.
