Brighton to Bray - the second leg through Central London

This is merely a rouse to suggest that the owners of the fruit bowl have still got their own teeth...!
Think you mean "ruse" old chap dontcha know?
RUSE: a wily subterfuge

as opposed to "rouse"
verb
1.
bring out of sleep; awaken.
"she was roused from a deep sleep by a hand on her shoulder"
NAUTICALarchaic
haul (something) vigorously in the specified direction.
"rouse the cable out"
2.
cause to feel angry or excited.
"the crowds were roused to fever pitch by the drama of the race"

Hmmm - not so sure now - could be either ?

Always did wonder why most Brooms (Generic) had slight whiff of Wethers/Peppermints/Wintergreen oil and that vague odour de retirement home. :):):)

Three very entertaining videos, capturing the journey very well.
Mind you, would not personally rely on the next person doing that trip getting the same weather. :)
Thought Richmond lock looked remarkably clean !
Plenty of rowers around as well.

Thanks very much. Condensing so many days of sailing into a few minutes is always fun, and doesn't do the journey or the sights justice.

I still can't believe how lucky I was with the weather, this could have been a completely different experience otherwise!

Too true. And can anyone explain we the speed limit is 8 kilometres an hours and not knots? I almost got a telling off about that!

Super Video thanks for posting

Very enjoyable, thanks.

Welcome to the Thames, and what a great way to arrive. Much enjoyed the video thank you. Being at the helm of ones boat is the best way to travel through Central London. Things will get much quieter from now on

I always enjoy it most at the helm of somebody eses boat; no worries and can appreciate the trip. At the helm of my own boat constantly concerned re the passenger boats and their impression of white van drivers on the M25.

Another cool vid,thanks for posting.

Welcome to The Thames.....For you Markhammond ze fun is over......5mph,lock queue's,rowers, floods and drought....you do get to feed the ducks but plz don't give 'em bread:):)

Because some dingleberry in Bristol who's never been near a boat wanted to be all European not understanding that Knots are international.
